An exceedingly rare and beautiful 17th Century Tuscan painted wine armoire.

Its profusely painted interior depicting classical landscape and vineyard themes, its ceiling with an astronomy-themed vignette and the exterior doors done in a very arresting trompe l’oeil design. This cabinet was used for wine storage, and is entirely original, including its large iron lock.
